Tom Petty is a specialist bike fitter, with over 20 years’ experience. Recently relocating from Sydney to Melbourne, Tom is now taking bookings at his Clifton Hill, Victoria location.
Tom combines state-of-the-art Retul 3D motion capture technology with his extensive bike fitting, bike building and servicing, and bike racing experience. Over the last 20 years working in cycling, Tom has managed a UCI continental cycling team to international victories, performed over 10,000 bike fits for customers and created the ideal way to buy high-end road bikes.

This service is for riders wishing to improve their cycling experience, whether that's comfort, performance, addressing an injury, or working towards a specific goal (or all of the above).

Frame Finder Service
This is a concierge service for riders wanting expert, independent advice to help them buy the right bike. A comprehensive 3D bike fitting, analysis and discussion about what you want or like and can include sourcing and building the bike.​

This service includes;​​

Initial consultation and fitting. The fitting can be completed on your existing bike or a fully adjustable fitting bike. If you are currently riding a bike, I prefer to see this as it gives me a baseline for your experience (even if it's the wrong size)

Comprehensive bike fit using Retul 3D motion capture.

Detailed analysis of purchase options and recommendations.

If requested, sourcing and building the bike, at competitive rates.

Final fitting to the new bike with the incorporated recommendations.
